The 2022 Roost Recap

Last month, we celebrated the third annual WNDR Roost, and needless to say, it was a BLAST.

What made this year's Roost special was the crew that joined us - local FOWs stepping in as our forecasters and guides, a growing team of WNDR Alpine/Checkerspot employees, and of course, the WNDR Alpine community members from multiple countries that showed up grinning and stoked to shred the Wasatch.

Some skiers had been skiing big lines in the backcountry for decades, while others arrived with a couple tours under their belts, ready to learn more. For us, this was indicative of a backcountry scene in good health. Sharing knowledge, technique, and beta opens doors and makes for a community of mentorship and growth. We love seeing it.

Over three days in the Wasatch, we skied, got to know each other, and had way too much fun together.

Please enjoy a series of curated moments from our time together below. Then make some plans to Roost with us in 2023!
